Over the past several days, Los Angeles has endured historic wildfires, leaving behind widespread destruction and heartbreak. Countless residents have been forced to evacuate, with entire neighborhoods, schools, businesses, and community spaces reduced to rubble. Sacred spaces, irreplaceable memories, and treasured relics are now ash. And with Los Angeles being the entertainment capital of the world, this event has overwhelmingly impacted our very own community, from executives to creatives to assistants.

In an industry that’s already hurting, these fires are compounding hardships for so many. Our hearts go out to everyone impacted by this catastrophe. Whether you are grieving a loss, searching for a safe haven, or simply trying to process these events, we stand with you.

Currently, California fire officials report three active wildfires with varying levels of containment. The Palisades fire, which ignited Tuesday, has scorched over 23,713 acres and is only 14% contained, making it a potential candidate for the most destructive fire in California history. In northern Los Angeles, the Eaton fire has burned more than 14,000 acres across areas like Altadena and is 33% contained.

Meanwhile, the smaller Hurst fire, near San Fernando, has consumed 799 acres and is nearly fully contained. Earlier fires, including Kenneth, Archer, Sunset, Lidia, Woodley, and Olivas, have all been successfully contained. Increasing winds threaten to worsen conditions over the next few days.

In these difficult times, it is so important that we come together as a community to lift each other up. Below, please find a list of resources specifically for entertainment industry workers affected by these fires.
